A Very Thick, Folded Zokin: Stitched Dust Rag

Zokin are traditional Japanese dustrags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth. This is a very rustic example which is sewn from thick recycled cotton cloth probably about four layers in all.
The rather haphazard sashiko stitching and the folded cotton pieces add charm to this otherwise utilitarian cloth.

A very good looking zokin with lovely stitching.
