Zokin are traditional Japanese dustrags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth.

This is a thickly layered zokin which is sewn from recycled cotton cloth. It is beautifully sashiko stitched in the persimmon flower pattern: the stitching is large in scale relative to the size of the zokin.

A very good looking zokin with a nice bonus of a sashiko stitched pattern.
