A Thick Daifukucho: Hand Written Ledger Book
early twentieth century

This is a good-sized and thick daifukucho, which is a hand bound, hand written ledger book which could have originally been used for inventories, for accounting, or as a record of loans, etc.
This one is thick with many pages, each one filled with hand writing done in sumi or charcoal-based ink with some writing and corrections done in red colored ink. One of its two abraded covers show hand written kanji or Chinese characters.
A good example of a traditional daifukucho, a bit battered from wear and showing some worm holes, but rich in wonderfully attractive pages of hand writing.
