This is skein of hand plied, rough and wiry hemp fiber yarn. As can be detected by looking at the accompanying photographs, the yarn is undyed and is a medium, warm brown in color.
The skein weighs approximately 6 oz or 170 grams and the fiber still feels very wild and untamed even though it has been hand ply joined to create usable.
Just beautiful.
