Zokin are traditional Japanese dust rags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth.
This is a good looking zokin which is sewn from plaid cotton cloth which has been sashiko stitched in parallel, diagonal lines, a bit of an unusual pattern for a zokin.
A lovely zokin with a great stitching.
