Zokin are traditional Japanese dustrags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth.
This is a very good looking zokin which is sewn from pieced-together recycled cotton cloth of many different types and colors, creating an artistic assemblage of texture, color and pattern.
The sashiko stitching is casual and hurried which adds a lovely detail to the zokin.
A very good looking zokin.
