A Long Patched Boro Panel: Green on Blue

This long panel of beautifully weathered, hand loomed, indigo dyed blue cotton boro cloth is hand stitched from three separate pieces.

The color benefits from being erratically and subtly faded as this shows a variation of blue tones and also highlights the hand woven quality of the cloth.

Five, olive drab colored cotton patches are hand stitched to the surface of the piece, and this dull color, in combination with the pale blue, is really lovely.

A very good, boro piece with interesting color and patching.
