A Long Panel of Beautiful Katazome Cotton: Stylized Chrysanthemums

This is a generously long panel of katazome dyed cotton; the pattern of stylized chrysanthemums set against a dappled background is made more attractive because of the good size of this length.

The more repeats seen on this panel gives the image more visual strength.

There are fairly liberally applied highlights to the indigo and white colored pattern which are done in an ochre tone. This adds further interest to the pattern and design which is already strong and beautifully rendered.

The length is in good, used condition with sturdy color and a nice presence.
