A Length of Two Related Kasuri Designs: Hand Stitched

This is a lovely length of indigo dyed kasuri cotton that is composed of two pieces that are hand stitched together to form one length.

The change in pattern between the top part and the bottom part is subtle enough not to be noticed at first--and it could be the same warp was used for each of the two pieces although this is not definitely known.

Each of the two patterns is handsome in its own right and the conjunction of the two adds visual--and subtle--richness.

Beautiful--with a beautiful, blue color.
