A Length of Shibori Dyed Crepe Silk: Chirimen

This is a length of crepe silk that has been dyed in the shibori method: the ground is a blue/violet/grey tone and there are very nicely executed clusters of shibori circles in three areas of this length.

This was once the sleeve of a garment so that said it has some ingrained creases from its former life. The crepe silk, as you can imagine, is heavy and drapey in the hand.

A lovely length in good, used condition that can be applied to many types of projects or can be enjoyed on its own.
