A Length of Patched Plaid Cotton: Tight, Durable Weave

This is a length of tightly woven, slightly heavy weight indigo dyed cotton that has been designed as a complex plaid.

By looking at the close-up detail of the cloth you will see how it is woven; knowing this adds to the visual enjoyment of the piece.

It shows two rather large patches which are attached to the middle, left-hand side of the cloth. The patches are of the same cotton as the base and they are fairly well aligned to it so they are hard to see: the slight disruption of pattern caused by these patches is a nice feature on this otherwise good-looking length of cotton.

Very handsome and beautifully hand woven.
