A Length of Old Plaid Cotton: Gradient Stripes

This is a beautiful length of old cotton which shows a plaid pattern which is constructed from fields of gradient stripes that intersect each other along the length.

The color is a deep, dull blue that reads dark grey or black and the white and yellow colored stripes are pale in tone against the light faded dark ground.

A wonderful length of traditional cotton from old Japan.
