A Length of Miura Shibori: Variegated Dappling

This is a length of indigo dyed miura shibori cotton which shows as variegated tones of dappled tie dye. The field varies from light to dark in amorphous sections and there are four blank, undyed spots that act as visual foils to the field of splotches.
As this was once part of a yukata or an unlined, summer kimono there are ingrained creases from its former life.
It is a beautiful fragment of good, old shibori dyed cotton.
