This lovely length of hand woven, indigo dyed cotton shows three wide, vertically-oriented stripes that are a complex assortment of tones and visual textures.
The cloth itself has a fantastically irregular selvedge and the weave on this piece is tight and strong.
But the vertical stripes are visually arresting and the execution of them is wonderful.
A very, very handsome length of hand woven cotton.
