A Length of Kanoko Shibori: Cotton Panel

This is a length of kanoko, or "fawn dappled" cotton shibori.

The entire length is textured with small, tie dyed bumps which are colored indigo, most likely not botanical.  The cotton is machine loomed and is taken from a yukata or an unlined, casual kimono, so this length shows ingrained creases from its years of wear.

A beautiful and versatile length of shibori cotton from Japan.
