A Length of Wiry Blue-Green Hemp Kaya: One Patch

This is a lovely length of  rustic, hand plied hemp kaya or mosquito netting whose color is a very warm, dull, blue-green.

The fibers are wonderfully wiry and the lax weaving creates a mesh like effect; the yarns are rustic as can be seen by the uneven way they drink in the indigo dye.

There is patch that can be seen on this fine piece of old mosquito netting.

Simply beautiful in color and texture, this is a very good piece of old kaya.
