This is a length of beautiful old hand woven cotton that has been taken from a futon cover--it is composed of two pieces that are hand stitched together.
The length is studded with a beautiful array of cotton patches, around thirteen in all. What is interesting about the patches is their variety in terms of shape, size and color.
All the patches in such visual difference as they play against the background of the wide striped cotton is just beautiful.
