This is a length of indigo dyed cotton that is dyed in the kasuri technique.
The deep, velvety blue color is rich and the zigzag placement of the kasuri woven images lends an overall lighthearted feeling to the design.
The cloth seems to be very lightly worn, if at all. The regular design is handsome and the execution of the kasuri weaving is well done.
