This is a very handsome, beautifully woven length of indigo dyed plaid cotton, made rich in color by two tones of indigo and intermittent stripes of a maize color.
The weaving is tight and is expertly done; there seems to be little to no wear as the cloth is bright in color tone with a good surface.
It is generous in length and is a beautifully realized length of plaid, hand woven cotton from old Japan.
