A Beautifully Textured Multi-Colored Obi: Sakiori

This is a really lovely, beautifully toned ragweave, or sakiori, obi which has been woven with a weft of torn and shredded, multi-colored cottons.

The colors which make up the weft are fed randomly against the warp, which makes for a beautiful and surprising color story if your eye travels from one end of the obi to the other. The black cotton warp acts to add depth of color to the overall piece.

This particular obi is in very good condition with no discernible flaws.  The colors are bright, the weaving is rich and tight.
