A Beautifully Colored Rustic Obi: Stripes and Checks

This cheerful, rustic obi is hand woven from a cotton warp and a weft of thick, cotton yarns, the effect being something akin to sakiori, which this is not.
The warp yarns are a striped arrangement of deep black/blue, pale pink, rust, and sage green tones while the weft yarns alternate grey and blue, creating a simultaneous check/striped effect.
In seemingly unused condition, this is a really good-looking, vintage obi with very good coloration.
