A Patched and Pieced Length of Plaid Cotton: Beautiful Hand Spun Yarns

This is a length of beautifully hand woven cloth that has been made with richly textured hand spun cotton yarns.

The plaid design, seemingly straightforward, is more complex in tone and concept than one might assume at first glance.

The top portion of the length is studded with a cluster of patches in different colors and cloth. while the rest of the length shows two patches of the base cloth, a nice foil to what we see on the top.

The hand of the cloth is of the kind of wonderful texture yielded by hand spun cotton. It drapes well which makes this as wearable as it is displayable.
