This is a really charming old book of semi-commercial kasuri dyed cotton samples.
The book, more of a folio, is made of lightweight cardboard that has been commercially printed; it is formed as an accordion, the center area which holds the twenty fabric swatches extends out in one, long, folded piece.
There is some wear to the folds of the folio, but otherwise this little gem--harder and harder to find in Japan--is in good condition and is still very stable. And is very fun to look at.
