A set of hand spun, hand woven coasters from India, each of which is block printed--by hand--in Rajasthan. Khadi is the term used for hand spun, hand woven cloth in India, and its production is now regulated by the government. M.K. Gandhi revived khadi weaving in India as a way to instill national identity in the face of the opposing English colonial government.
A beautiful set of well-coordinated colors and patterns.
