This wonderful, thick ledger book comes with a very long fiber cord which winds around the center of the book multiple times.  The hand drawn calligraphy on the covers and the many pages of notes within--with some gorgeous scribbles and blotches--are what make this book the attractive thing it is.

Most likely this book was an accounting of inventory or some such thing, it can be admired as-is, or dissected to use its beautiful pages in artwork.
